    We currently have a need for a full- or part-time, experienced MS developer and technical lead. This is a long-term, permanent employment position directly for Melvin Systems. We prefer a Connecticut-based professional to work locally with us. No contractors please.
    Technical Skills: 2-3+ years experience developing solutions with ASP.NET/C# and SQL, some classic ASP experience a plus, experience designing/implementing MS SQL Server databases including tables, views, stored procedures, security, etc, MS SharePoint admin experience, MS SharePoint development experience a plus. Not required, but QuickBooks experience is a plus.
    Other Skills: Documentation and design. Proficiency with MS Visio a plus. Production support experience a plus. Reporting experience. Technical lead experience a plus.
    Responsibilities: This position reports to the Project Manager. Interfaces with programmers, network/database administration group and customer representatives. Projects include maintenance, production support and continued development of in-house web-based system; design, development and maintenance of new and existing applications for client base, primarily developed with ASP.NET/C# and SQL Server and related technologies; willing to share on-call responsibilities for nightly batch a plus, but may not be required.
