Web-based Payroll Service
Our newest payroll service offering makes our payroll services available to our non-QuickBooks clients as well as our QuickBooks client. You may now have your payroll processed online via a secured connection with full payroll functionality performed outside of your accounting system. We will upload your payroll activity in summarized format to your accounting system for many of the most popular small business accounting systems, including QuickBooks. Either we prepare your payroll, deposits and related reports, and you simply run the print jobs online or you may enter and run the payroll yourself online. Everything else is done for you.

In-House Payroll Processing (QuickBooks-only)
This method of providing payroll processing to businesses is via file transfer. As our client, a Secured login share is created for you to share your business' confidential data with our office. Any file transferred through this facility is secured with content and user authentication over a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) connection directly to our office servers. We prepare your payroll, deposits and related reports, and you simply run the print jobs at your place of business.
An additional benefit to choosing this method is that you will not be required to subscribe to an Intuit payroll service. We provide the payroll subscription for you.

Remote Payroll Processing (QuickBooks-only)
Another method of payroll processing we provide is directly accessing your office computer to process your payroll via a secured remote connection. This method is about equivalent to having a payroll processing service onsite at your office. Again, we prepare your payroll, deposits and related reports, and you simply run the print jobs at your place of business.
With this method, you will be required to maintain your own annual subscription to the Enhanced Payroll Service.

Submitting Employee Hours
We accomodate several methods for your company to submit employees' hours for payroll:

Internet - for our Offsite Payroll option, enter paycheck changes online and run your payroll at any time of the day or night.
Phone - call your payroll representative to submit your hours.
Fax - fax your hours to our payroll fax line (320) 386-3887.
Email - You may email us the summary of your timesheets.
Upload - You may also upload the summary of your timesheets to your secured Melvin Systems share, either on our Microsoft Excel summary sheet or on your own media.
